Mola art is a traditional art form done by the Cuna Indians from Panama. Molas are made of color fabric sewed on a black fabric background. Art teacher Hector Garma teaches his students a simplified version inspired by Molas using color paper here some examples of his students work. This workshop will teach your child how layer color, use pattern and use negative space in a fun surreal approach using animals as a focal point!
